Belize Car Wash (04/30/06)

On Saturday, May 13th the Belize team will be having a car wash fundraiser at the Americo Gas station at 1285 S. Mission Rd. (on the corner of South Mission Rd. and Clemens Lane.) We are looking for volunteers willing to help with this event. If you are interested there is a sign-up sheet at the back table, or see Elias Armenta.

Congregational Meeting (04/23/06)

There will be a short congregational meeting following this morning's service to formalize our request to the South Coast Presbytery concerning pastor Duguid's departure from our church. We ask everyone, especially the members, to stay for the meeting.

Women of Grace - Scrapbooking Night (04/23/06)

May 5, at 6:00 PM, there will be a SCRAPBOOKING NIGHT hosted by Janny and Rebecca Ligtenberg. We have space for 6 people, so reserve you space early. Bring any photos and supplies you would like to use. We have lots of tools and ideas to share. There will be a light dinner provided. Bring snacks to share for after dinner. The luncheon held last Sunday to raise funds for the Belize trip was a great success. Many thanks to those who prepared the food and to those who enjoyed it and donated to support this mission.

Presbytery Meeting (04/16/06)

The next stated meeting of the South Coast Presbytery is on April 22. Please pray as pastors and elders from local PCA churches meet to pray together and discuss the work of gospel ministry.

In Lieu of our normal pot-luck luncheon next Sunday (April 9), the Belize Team is providing lunch to raise funds to help defray the cost of their July mission trip. Please take part and bring a healthy appetite. Your love gift would be appreciated.

We will meet to meditate on the passion of our Lord on Friday April 15th, 8:00 PM. We invite you to come and join us for worship. This is also a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors who do not know our Lord.

New Sunday School Study (04/02/06)

In April we begin a new Sunday School study based on John Owen's "The Glory of Christ". You are not required to read the book to participate. But it is a great book that is easy to read. If you are interested in owning a copy please see Pastor Ken Han.

The 2006 International Women In the Church Conference will be held in Atlanta September 15-17, 2006. This conference is a call to a rich intergenerational experience for women ages 13 and older. They will gather to worship and to be equipped to be women who know their theology, women who love His church, and women who are kingdom disciplers, obediently declaring His faithfulness generation to generation.
